Karyla is an AI-powered platform that helps teams manage and improve website content. It can connect to your CMS (currently WordPress), learn your existing content and brand voice, and help you draft, rewrite, and publish content updates.

3. Age Restrictions

You must be at least 13 years old to use our service. If you are under 18, you must have parental consent to create an account. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

4. User Accounts

To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information
  • Maintain and update your account information
  • Keep your password secure and confidential
  • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use our service to:

6. Intellectual Property

The service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Karyla and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

You retain ownership of content you create or provide, but grant us a license to use, store, and process your content to provide our services and improve our AI features (including in anonymized form).

7. Content Moderation

We reserve the right to monitor, review, and moderate content generated through our service. We may remove content that violates these Terms or applicable laws, suspend or terminate accounts for repeated violations, use automated systems to detect inappropriate content, and report illegal content to appropriate authorities.

You are solely responsible for the content you create and share through our service.

8. AI and Machine Learning

Our service uses artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies. You understand and agree that AI output may contain errors, we do not guarantee the accuracy of AI-generated content, your interactions may be used to improve our AI features, and AI features are provided “as is” without warranties.

9. Privacy and Data

Your privacy is important to us. Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

10. Service Availability

We strive to provide continuous service availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of our service at any time with or without notice.

11. Disclaimers

Our service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, uninterrupted operation, or security.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Karyla shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or use, arising from your use of our service.

In no event shall our total liability exceed the amount you paid us for the service in the twelve months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Karyla, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of our service or violation of these Terms.

14. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to our service immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including breach of these Terms.

15. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of our service shall be resolved through binding arbitration, except for claims that may be brought in small claims court.

16. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.

18. Force Majeure

We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
